Photographic document of the best band in the world...
This book documents the progression of The Banshees from Bromley Contingent members to being an "established monster in the works"(Siouxsie). Stevenson was the brother of the bands manager, Nils and followed the band with camera in tow. He captures the highs and lows and also, most importantly , what the members of one of the world's most enigmatic bands were really like. We will never see a band as brilliant as Siouxsie and the Banshees ever again. Seek out this book and weep...

Solid, Liquid, or Gas (Rookie Read-About Science)
Published in School & Library Binding by Children's Book Press (October, 1995)
Authors: Fay Robinson, Ray Robinson, and Allan Fowler
Average review score:

Solid, Liquid, or Gas/
This photo essay defines matter, solids, liquids and gases and gives several examples of each. This book is very accurate and is yet easily understandable for even young children. The photos are crisp, colorful, and add realism and vitality to the text. A subject index is included in the back of the book. Best suited for children ages 5-8. Excellent! (Reviewed by a K-12 Science teacher)

Possible Classroom Activity: After reading the book to a K-1 class or having the students read the book themselves in Grades 1-3, place three objects on a table in front of a bulletin board. Have the students identify the objects as solid, liquid or gas. Mount a poster board bar graph corresponding to each object on the bulletin board. Then have the students place a Post-it note on the bar graph indicating their identification for each. Discuss the objects with the class. Rotate objects for an on-going, interactive bulletin board.

Something Wild (Planescape Adventure)
Published in Paperback by TSR Hobbies (February, 1996)
Authors: Tsr Staff, Ray Valllese, TSR Inc, and Robh Ruppel
Average review score:

A save a plane adventure
Suitable for somewhat low level characters yet they have a chance to help save a plane from destruction. This in itself is a definite plus point. If your party consists of hack and slashers and they are not powered up with magic items or levels, my guess is that they will croak fast. If your party can think and plan, they should survive this adventure with minimum *miracles* on the DM's part. It also involves Malar, a FR power, so it might be useful to FR DMs.

Southeastern Lighthouses
Published in Paperback by Globe Pequot Pr (June, 1998)
Author: Ray Jones
Average review score:

These books are good for finding the lights that are in them
There are directions and other info for finding and visiting lighthouses. They do not always show all lights for a given area. The photos are all color. I own 3 of these books. There are not many other guide books out there so if you are looking for guide books these are good to have. Since there are so many books in this series I thought I'd help people find them easier. This is the series.
